The List You Don't Want to be On
1 Corinthians 5:11
Lists, there are all kinds of lists. There are grocery lists, the dean's list,
when I was in military school there was even the privilege list. But the
list you did not want to be associated with was the demerit list. That
one entailed trouble. God has a list that you don't want to be on either.
[not to keep company with - mingle or mix with]
I. Because it reveals you're a bad influence (5:11).
A. Fornicators - unlawful sexual behavior
B. Covetous - an eagerness to have more, greedy
C. Idolaters - a worshipper of idols or mammon
D. Railer/reviler - contentious, causing strife
- Prov.19:13 cf.27:15; 21;9&19 cf.25:24; 26:21
E. Drunkard - a drinker of alcohol
F. Extortioners - an excessive grasping
- an appetite for the things driving them to take
what others have; They are thieves.

II. Because it reveals you're going to hell (6:9-10).
A. Title for the List is given: "the Unrighteous"
B. Shall not inherit (receive/obtain) the K.O.G.
No! You don't want to be on this lists nor do you want to company or
mingle with this crowd. The choice is yours - make it for the glory of God.
