The Sacrificial Love of God
There have sacrifices made throughout the generations. However, the greatest sacrifice of all time is the sacrifice that the love of God made for all men. The sacrifice of His only begotten Son. What did God’s sacrificial love do for us.
I. The sacrificial love of God makes us the children of God (1)
Resulting in the world not knowing us
Resulting being called the sons of God
II. The sacrificial love of God separates us from the world (1)
The world does not no us
Because they knew him not
Because they never learned of Christ
III. The sacrificial love of God gives us hope (2)
Hope of a physical resurrection (2b) “Fact He is coming again.”
Hope of a purity over sin (3-4)
IV. The sacrificial love of God makes us pure/righteous (5)
Pure from sin (5-6)
Righteous in state & behavior (7)
V. The sacrificial love of God gives us power over sin (8-9)
Jesus Christ manifest
Jesus Christ destroys the works of the devil
Jesus Christ indwells the Believer so he can’t continue sinning.
VI. The sacrificial love of God Identifies us separate from the devil's crowd (10)
God’s love separated us to be doing righteousness
God’s love separates us to be loving the brethren

The sacrificial love of the Father is His Son Jesus Christ. If you have the Son you have
eternal life and all its benefits. Have you repented and received Jesus Christ as your Savior?
