Godly Christian Behavior

Ephesians 5:1-20

Without question the Christians behavior is an outward identification of his relationship with Jesus Christ. The believer obediently follows Christ and is identified by his walk. Christians are instructed in Godly behavior to:

I.          Walk in Love vs.2

      A.     Walking as Christ (2)

      B.     Walking in holiness (7)

                1.    Avoiding certain behavior (3-4)

                2.    Aware of a certain end (5-6)

II.          Walk as Children of Light vs.8

      A.       Because you are not of darkness (8)

                 1.    Walking in the fruit of the Spirit (9) Gal.5:22-23

                 2.    Walking in confidence (10) Rm.12:1-2

                 3.    Walking in purity (11)

      B.      Because you are not asleep (14)

                 1.    Walking awakened in Christ (14)

                 2. Walking in the light "power" of Christ (14)

III.          Walk Circumspectly vs.15

       A.       By walking as wise (15)

       B.       By walking redeeming the time (16)

IV.          Walk Filled "controlled" by the Spirit vs.18

       A.       With an inward joy (19)

       B.        With an outward thanksgiving (20)

Can you do better in your Christian walk? Are there areas you need to

improve upon? Then commit them to Christ. Make sure you’re saved and then make sure you're following the Word of God.
