     A.   Who they are (9-10)

     B.    Reasons for compliance (11-12)

II.        Submissive to Her Husband 1 Pet.3:1

      A.    Denoting position and duties

      B.    Rewarding behavior

III.        Chaste in Conversation - Purity in Faith 1 Pet.3:2

       A.    Visibly evident - "to watch attentively"

       B.    Coupled with fear - "reverence for God"

IV.        Adorned from Within 1 Pet.3:3-6

       A.     It is not the exterior - hair, jewelry, or clothing (3)

       B.     It is the inner - the heart - meek & quiet spirit (4)

       C.     It is exampled by O.T. women - Sara (5-6)

                -  her obedience - acknowledged reverence

                -  her well doing - example of submission

                -  her trust - without panic, alarm or agitation

This is the pattern for a Holy Woman. And it is God's desire that Christian women be holy.
