Jude 20-23

General orders for a soldier are orders that give expected behavior.

God's general orders for his soldiers are.....

I.        Keep Yourselves Building up in the Faith vs.20

      A.    It's your responsibility to grow

      B.    It happens through the Word Rm.10:17

      C.    It happens through using the Word Heb.5:14

II.        Keep Yourselves Praying vs.20

      A.    You don't have because you don't ask Jm.4:2

      B.     You're promised joy John 16:24

      C.     You're promised answers Mt.21:22

Go forth contender and serve in the army of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here are your general orders.

III.        Keep Yourselves in the Love of God vs.21

      A.    By keeping his commandments Jn.14:21,23

      B.    By walking after his commandments 2 Jn.6

IV.        Keep Yourselves Looking for the Lord's Mercy vs.21

      A.    By having compassion vs. 22

      B.    By being a soul winner vs.23
