The Blood of Christ is a Propitiation.
Romans 3:25
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (expiation) through faith
in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission (passing
over) of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
The Blood of Christ Justifies and Saves from the Wrath to come
Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now justified (declared righteous) by his blood,
we shall be saved (delivered) from wrath (the heated anger of God)
through him. cf. Rv. 6:17, Rv.19:15
The Blood of Christ makes Redemption and Forgiveness possible
Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption (released by payment) through his blood,
the forgiveness (pardoned from sins, released from bondage) of sins,
according to the riches of his grace;
The Blood of Christ Reconciles (restores from enmity to favor
Colossians 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile (restore from enmity to favor) all things unto himself; by him, I
say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
The Blood of Christ is sufficient to obtain redemption.
Hebrews 9:12
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he
entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption
(ransom, delivering from the penalty of sin) for us.
The Blood of Christ Purges from Sin
Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge (make clean) your
conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The Blood of Christ makes it possible for Gentiles to be Saved
Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh
by the blood of Christ.
The Blood of Christ makes the Remission of sin possible.
Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission (deliverance).
